Become a Member

APSA membership is open to anyone with an interest in pig science, regardless of location or particular field of study.

APSA membership is due every second year and costs A$30 for Australian and New Zealand students, A$50 for Australia and New Zealand full members and overseas students, and A$80 for overseas full members.

A $50 joining fee applies to new memberships. Please note that your existing username should be used when renewing your membership to avoid being charged the joining fee.

10% GST applies to Australian memberships.

Website membership, required for one-page paper submission, is free.

Membership fees are biennial – ie. 1st July 2023 to 30th June 2025. Member discounts on conference registration are only available when membership is current at the time of the conference. Memberships for the 2023 conference period can be purchased or renewed as of 1st April 2023 in line with opening of conference registrations.

By completing the online registration process you are agreeing to:

Please note, Australian members are required to pay 10% GST on all fees. For this very small cost, APSA members receive discounted registration to the Biennial conference, a copy of the Proceedings (an electronic copy will be sent if not attending) and the opportunity to network with others involved in the pig industry both in Australia and overseas.
